Summer Reading 🤓

It is "crucial" to read to children during the summer because it prevents "summer slide," where they lose academic progress made during the school year, and fosters early literacy skills. It expands their vocabulary, improves comprehension, and stimulates imagination, all of which are vital for future academic success.

You can review these books on Amazon and/or use Youtube if your program permits it.

Summer Outdoor Activity

Nature Color Hunt🌸

During the hunt, encourage children to collect items from nature that match the colors on their list such as leaves and flowers

This activity promotes fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and color recognition, while fostering a sense of curiosity and wonder about the natural world.

Please take a look at the example document for you to have a layout on how to create your own for your children.
