"We would like to serve more children but don't have enough staff...It's hard to find help when needed."

When you hear the same story repeatedly, it naturally leads you to ask, “What can I do to change things? Where do I start?” For us, the answer began with what we knew best—education and children—and it grew into a purpose-driven business.

Nelson Early Learning Services is a Black-woman-owned company that places children and education at the center of everything we do. Intentionally founded by Shauna Goldman, Nelson was designed as a support system for educational settings and institutions, ensuring that every program has access to high-quality, effective staff who are prepared to serve our most vulnerable and underrepresented children.

Fun Fact: The name of Nelson Early Learning Services is inspired by the childhood storybook Ms. Nelson Is Missing by James Marshall.
